Northeast Ohio is making big moves in the photography scene, and Tre Davis is one of the photographers leading the charge.

Davis has been a photographer for about four years, starting his journey by capturing photos of his cousin in the AAU basketball circuit. At the time, he was still a college student at Tiffin University.
The camera is critical to a photographer's work, and Davis relies on a Canon R. In addition to being a photographer, Davis doubles as a videographer.
At just 22 years old, Davis has already seen immense success. He has photographed major artists, including Lil Baby, Future, Doe Boy, and Meek Mill, among many others. His primary focus is on hip-hop artists and sports stars.
His first big break came in 2021 at a Rod Wave concert in Cleveland. This show was at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica and was a sellout. Wave’s album “SoulFly” debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 in March of 2021. It was a massive opportunity and experience for Davis.

Davis attributes his success to faith, saying, “It means a lot like it’s a blessing. All glory to God cuz’ without him, none of this is possible honestly. So it’s a blessing that I got to do all these things and really in a short amount of time like I said…”
One of his most memorable photos is of LeBron James dunking on Kevin Love.

For Davis, a major accomplishment is when celebrities recognize his work. Draya Michele, a reality TV star known for Basketball Wives LA, posted photos he took of her. She was visiting a club in Cleveland owned by one of Davis’ friends. Through that connection, he asked his friend to put in a good word with her manager, which led to Davis photographing her. This was a full-circle moment for Davis, who had a childhood crush on her.

Celebrities, despite their status, are still people who deserve respect. Davis emphasized, “Sometimes they don’t wanna be taken a photo of and sometimes they want to. I just would say like you should ask them instead of just taking it cuz you never know, you just never know.”
Having achieved so much at a young age, Davis shares valuable advice for aspiring photographers. He said, “Keep goin. Don’t stop. There's always room for improvement. Just keep reachin’ for the stars...”
Davis recently had the honor of photographing Travis Kelce and his friends during the 2025 Super Bowl weekend. In addition, he vlogged for Sky Moore, another Kansas City Chiefs player.

Immediately after, he traveled to Sunrise, Florida, for Big Meech’s Welcome Back Legacy Concert, where he captured images of top artists like Lil Baby, Rick Ross, and Kodak Black.
When asked about his dream celebrities to photograph, Davis listed Jay-Z and Kim Kardashian.
Beyond his success, Davis is a role model for aspiring photographers. Many admire his work and the path he has carved. If people are interested in photography and have questions, Davis encourages them to reach out via Instagram—he’s open and willing to help however possible.
Looking ahead, Davis remains focused on growth. He shared, “I just keep prayin’ that I keep goin’ up and let God handle the rest honestly and I’m just grateful for everything.”
